Develop softness, responsiveness and body control from the ground before progressing into the bridle.
You'll learn how to:

Long Reining
Use long reining to improve communication and prepare your horse for ridden work.
Topics include:
- Softness through the bridle
- Steering and control
- Connection and communication
- Mental and physical preparation
Saddling & Mounting
Create calm, consistent routines before every ride.
We'll cover:
- Correct saddling preparation
- Pre-mounting exercises
- Building patience and relaxation at the mounting block
Under Saddle Training
Learn how to structure productive rides that build confidence, understanding and responsiveness.
We'll cover:
- Starting and finishing each session well
- Effective use of your hands, seat and legs
- Timing, feel and release
- Exercises for green horses
- Building softness, balance and body control
- Creating consistent progress over time
Problem Solving
Work through common challenges green horses experience, including:
- Resistance and tension
- Loss of softness
- Confusion under saddle
- Confidence issues
- Training plateaus
Training Expectations

-$60 per day - Fence sitters
Lunch catered - Stay Saturday night for a BBQ Dinner.
CAMPING AVAILABLE @ $12 per night
Whether you’re working through the early stages or simply wanting a better understanding of young or inexperienced horses, this clinic will give you practical tools you can take home and apply immediately.
